Runway Access. Business Park Momentum. Room to Build.

Inverness Airport is Citrus County’s business aviation and general aviation workhorse, offering practical airfield capability with an easy operating environment. Just beyond the runway, the Inverness Airport Business Park adds a rare advantage, an adjacent development area designed to support aviation-related and aviation-adjacent investment.

Airport Overview

Inverness Airport is owned and maintained by the Citrus County Board of County Commissioners and is served by one runway, Runway 01/19, which is 5,000’ by 75’ with a full parallel taxiway. The airport has an AWOS, GPS approaches, and Jet A and 100LL fuel that is self-serve.

Inverness Airport Business Park

The Inverness Airport Business Park is an eighty-acre site immediately south of the airport’s runway and service road. The County has stated the buildout concept includes capacity for up to 500,000 square feet of light industrial space and hangars, with potential to create over 700 local jobs.
